Kumquat Life contracts with independent, 1099 licensed insurance agents. Nothing on this site is an offer of employment, salary, benefits, or guaranteed compensation. Agents are paid commissions on policies they personally place.
Income disclosure
Any income figures shown are examples of what individual agents have earned and are not typical or guaranteed. Results depend on your licensing, hours worked, skill, persistence, and market conditions. Many agents earn little or nothing.
Licensing
You must hold a valid state life insurance license to sell. If you are unlicensed, you are responsible for your own pre-licensing course and state exam costs, typically around $200–$300. Kumquat Life does not reimburse licensing fees.
